Vaishnodevi temple is situated at an altitude of about 5200 feet in the mountains of Vaishnodevi,about 12 kilometers from the town of Katra in Jammu and Kashmir.Maata Vaishnodevi is considered as the mother Goddess,and the temple is one of the most visited and popular centres of pilgrimage in India.
